We are excited to be part of your next chapter of life! Whether you’re planning to be married at Salem Lutheran Church or have one of our pastors at your ceremony, we want to help make that day a memory!
Salem Lutheran Church is a member of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod (LCMS). The LCMS, in Convention in 1990, affirmed, on the basis of Scripture, that marriage is the lifelong union of one man and one woman. As such, Salem Lutheran Church, as a member of the LCMS, only conducts marriages that join one man and one woman who intend to be joined for their mutual lifetime. (Genesis 2:2-24; Matthew 19:5-6).
Jesus said, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies.”
Though we hold fast to the promise of life everlasting, we know that the loss of a loved one is often a painful experience for those of us not yet enjoying eternity. We stand ready to walk with you through the process of celebrating your loved one’s victory in Christ.
"The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ." 1 Corinthians 15:56-57
